This Master’s degree (a specialization of our Master in Business administration MBA), is intended to deepen and enhance the entrepreneurial competencies of recent graduates who are both considering beginning their professional career in an existing business as well as creating their own. The programme provides a solid base of knowledge, tools, and competencies in the various departments of a company, and includes a stint at a ‘Centro de Emprendimiento e Innovación de la Milla Digital de Zaragoza’ (Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre), where students will experience working alongside entrepreneurs, companies, and professionals.
Master in Business Administration (MBA) | Entrepreneurship
The Master in Business Administration (MBA), specializing in Entrepreneurship, is intended to deepen and enhance the entrepreneurial competencies of recent graduates who are both considering beginning their professional career in an existing business as well as creating their own while at the same time allowing them, through the internship (work based learning) provided by CESTE, to put into practice as much of their newly acquired knowledge and experience as possible.
CESTE is currently developing a strategic alliance with Initland, the Spanish company that manages the majority of innovation and entrepreneurial centres in Spain, and which oversees 100 social and technological start-ups every day. With this collaboration, CESTE supports the growth of companies, start-ups, and a diverse range of business projects. It also tries to instil an entrepreneurial spirit in its classrooms and has many examples of former students who have gone on to start their own business.
Initland has several centres in Aragón: ‘El Centro de Incubación Empresarial Milla Digital (CIEM)’ which is a think tank for the City government of Zaragoza whose purpose is entrepreneurship, innovation, and creativity in the work place, and ‘La Ronda’, the first vertical think tank in Spain that covers Tourism, Leisure, Gastronomy, and the Hotel industry, in collaboration with Meliá Hotels International. It houses a think tank for companies, a space for creativity sessions, and a new professional networking system.
The Entrepreneurship MBA consists of visits to companies and entrepreneurship centres, conferences, workshops, and excursions with the intention of having students see real life situations and be able to hear about the day-to-day work experiences of business people and entrepreneurs and thus enjoy the benefits of business networking and generating ideas, teams, and methodologies for project development.
Students will have a stay at the ‘Centro de Emprendimiento e Innovación de la Milla Digital de Zaragoza’. During said stay, the students will work in an environment of entrepreneurship and social innovation, in a governmental initiative, experiencing working alongside entrepreneurs, companies, and professionals. This experience is intended to serve as an in-road to creating international cooperative networks for students and help them to understand these new innovation and business/economic development centres and enable them to adapt to the current state of affairs.
Who is this for?
The Master’s in Business Administration is specially designed for graduates from Universities and Business Schools who wish to combine a post-graduate degree with a internship (work based learning). Specifically, the specialization in Entrepreneurship is intended to deepen and enhance the entrepreneurial competencies of recent graduates who are both considering beginning their professional career in an existing business as well as creating their own. It is also accessible for those over 25 years of age without a university degree and who can prove they have credible and equivalent experience in business.
In this programme, we tackle the business world as a whole, globally and comprehensively, training students in the intersectionality of knowledge, techniques, and behaviours that take part in the decision-making processes of any professional who currently or in the future will occupy a position of responsibility in a company. Students will especially take on the issues and develop an understanding of entrepreneurship and improving departments within a company.
The goals of the programme are to:
- To cultivate a strategic mentality to allow one to adapt to the new dynamic, competitive, and uncertain environments that current businesses operate within today.
- To develop a capacity for leadership and teamwork.
- To improve and strengthen a capacity for analysis and creative decision making.
- To acquire and consolidate knowledge.
- To train in the application of the most advanced management techniques through a highly practical methodology and based on tried and true experience.
- To make a compatible ‘PlFan de Carrera Profesional’ via the ‘Club de Empresas CESTE’ which allows students who are not currently working to start an active professional experience during a period of 12 months with the possibility of being hired afterwards.
- To enable a rapid integration into the workforce and prepare the student to gain short-term positions of responsibility.
The goals of the entrepreneurship specialization are to:
- Obtain a sufficient base of knowledge and develop/strengthen entrepreneurial competencies of young professionals both in order to be able to start their own business as well as contribute ideas to and pursue new business plans within existing companies.
The programme covers each and every one of the areas of business related with management and administration: Marketing, Finances, Human Resources, Production, Logistics, Quality Management, Business Organization, General Management, Information systems, etc.
Likewise, subjects are studied such as Economics, Labour Law, Quantitative Research Techniques, Preparation and Presentation of Reports, Decision Making, etc., the understanding of which are fundamental to any manager.
The Programme structure is unit-based, which guarantees maximum learning in each of the different areas. In this way, students ‘experiment’ with each of the different areas or departments in a company.

The European Diploma supplement can be added to the degree. CESTE, Allied with the university of Wales
In 1994 CESTE wanted to give its university programmes an official and international significance. As a result, an agreement was signed with the University of Wales. From then on, students graduated with 2 degrees: one awarded by CESTE and another awarded by the University of Wales in the United Kingdom; the latter of which is an official British degree recognized in all European countries.
CESTE, A university centre accredited by the government of Aragón
CESTE is an authorized university centre by the Government of Aragón to teach courses towards the acquisition of a Master’s in Business Administration, in accordance with the ‘Orden de septiembre de 2014 del Gobierno de Aragón’ (Under the guidance of ‘Real Decreto 557/1991 de 12 de Abril sobre Creación de Universidades y Centros Universitarios’).
I started studying at CESTE right after finishing my undergraduate degree. I was recommended to CESTE by a friend who had just finished his coursework and was very happy with it. I also ended up being very satisfied. I was welcomed by my fellow students and facilitators (who have showed a high level of quality). During the Master’s programme I was selected to do my internship at Adidas (of which I am very proud). I feel that all of this has given me exceptional work experience as well as expanding my education, which is why I recommend this place to everyone. I believe it is very complete and I am very satisfied with the decision I made.
